Welcome to the home of Computer Applications Technology Metro North, Western Cape

I will strive to make this site as resourceful as possible hoping that this will make your task easier in the computer laboratory. The Internet is a vast resource for CAT teachers but it can be a minefield and I hope that what I have here will give you more direction. Visit often as resources will be added regularly.

Access to this site is restricted to CAT Metro North educators. If you do not have access yet, please email me so that I can get you on the system. Once logged in you have access to the whole site, with all its resources and I encourage you to partake in the community that I want to grow.

The community section is for educators to meet other CAT educators and to share. The stronger we can make the community the easier it will be for the individual educators at their respective schools to join other schools in sharing resources and best practices. Some of us are new to the subject and there is a lot of experienced educators that you can meet here to make your task easier. Social Networking is the new buzz word, lets build our network and make us all better, stronger more comfortable CAT educators. Load up your Avatar (Photo), make yourself identifiable, share resources, tell us what is happening at your school, in your lab, challengers that you face.

Over the years I have made a resource CD available at the annual Standard Setting meetings. Instead of doing the same as in the past, all resources, will be uploaded here instead.
